Who is this person?
Connect an identity-provider check to the person taking part in the interview.
An identity check alone cannot establish who stays on the call or who does the work.
A new perspective on candidate integrity
We’re developing a native iOS video interview app to connect the person who applies, the person you interview, and the person who joins.

The hiring question
AI tools can help real candidates tell their story. They can also make impersonation harder to spot. Hiring teams need better evidence of who is present, where they are, and whether that person stays the same.
Who is behind the profile?
Who is actually on the call?
Is this the person you met?
The proposed approach
The proposed Valomira iOS app brings the video conversation and supporting checks into the same session. Each layer answers a different question. Together, they give your team more context for a human decision.

An identity check alone cannot establish who stays on the call or who does the work.
Bring live video and device-supported presence checks into the same native iOS session.
Liveness evidence is imperfect. TrueDepth support varies and is not the same as access to Face ID identity data.
Compare permission-based phone location with network context and, where available, carrier evidence.
VPNs, travel, device settings and signal gaps can create discrepancies. A mismatch is a reason to ask, not an automatic rejection.
Optionally connect a mailed secure NFC credential with a fresh tap during the interview session.
A card can be forwarded and NFC exchanges can be relayed. A tap strengthens context without proving a person’s location by itself.
Carry relevant evidence across interviews and onboarding so a change can be reviewed.
Continuity checks need clear consent, retention limits and an accessible path for candidates who cannot use the standard process.

Start in the job listing
“Our hiring process includes candidate identity and presence checks.”
An example of a public integrity notice.
Tell applicants what checks to expect in the job listing. A visible process may discourage impersonation before it begins. That deterrent effect still needs to be measured.
Treat discrepancies as context for review. Plan for travel, accessibility needs, unsupported devices and legitimate candidates who need another route.
In development
Valomira is in development. We are exploring the evidence, integrations and candidate experience needed to make this approach useful in everyday hiring.
