Confidence comes
from connection.

A video call is a conversation. It can also be the place where identity, live presence and physical context come together.

Built around a
native iOS app.

The proposed app would host the interview itself. That puts video and permission-based device checks in one session, with a shared context for review. The useful question is what each signal contributes, and where its limits begin.

01Identity

Who is this person?

Connect an identity-provider check to the person taking part in the interview.

Explore a third-party identity verification flow linked to the interview session. Provider access and integrations still need to be confirmed.

02Presence

Are they here, live?

Bring live video and device-supported presence checks into the same native iOS session.

Investigate live capture and optional TrueDepth signals on supported iPhones. Validate spoof resistance and candidate experience before making detection claims.

03Location

Does their location add up?

Compare permission-based phone location with network context and, where available, carrier evidence.

Use fresh, consented location information alongside network context. The goal is corroboration, not a claim that any one signal proves an exact location.

04Physical link

Can digital meet physical?

Optionally connect a mailed secure NFC credential with a fresh tap during the interview session.

Explore cryptographic NFC tags that produce fresh, verifiable scan data. Reserve mailing for cases where the extra time and candidate effort are justified.

05Continuity

Is it the same person throughout?

Carry relevant evidence across interviews and onboarding so a change can be reviewed.

Design repeat checks around meaningful hiring milestones, with proportionate evidence and a human review process for exceptions.

Useful evidence.
Responsible decisions.

Valomira is an early-stage concept, not an available verification service. Before release, the approach needs real-world validation with both hiring teams and candidates.

  • Provider access, technical integrations and device coverage.
  • False positives, relay attacks and other ways checks can fail.
  • Candidate consent, data minimization and retention policies.
  • Accessible alternatives to the standard iPhone flow.
  • Whether a public integrity notice actually deters impersonation.
  • Human review processes that help legitimate candidates resolve discrepancies.

A clearer hiring conversation.

The ambition is practical: help teams ask better questions with better context, while keeping the candidate experience proportionate.
